70s Themed Fun Day
And finally, to round off what was a truly memorable and never to be forgotten week in school, we held our 70s fun day on Friday, much to the delight of each and every child in school. We had fancy dress costumes, a pop-up tuck shop, a whole school 'rock the boat' tribute, bouncy castles, outdoor lunch, a party dinner and finally a mini 70s disco. And to round it all off, our fabulous supporters in the Portadown Cares charity sent in an ice-cream van to treat each and every child to a refreshing treat in the afternoon.
Friday will quite simply go down as a day never to be forgotten and who knows, maybe in 50 more years, some of our current pupils will reminisce at the 100 year anniversary of the school about the wonderful times they had this week!
