What better way to conclude a fabulous first term than to show the ture spirit of St. Oliver Plunkett's school community by supporting others in our local area who need a little extra help at Christmas time. Yet again the effort from the pupils, their families and the Friends of St. Oliver Plunkett's PTA group in supporting the annual St. Vincent de Paul collection was simply outstanding. Pictured is Michael Lavery with our school council collecting the donations. Thank you to everyone who helped out again this year.
And on a final note, special recognition goes to Mark who, having sold firelogs at the recent Santa Dash and Christmas Fair, donated a large portion of his profits to the same collection.
