Today, we had the pleasure of accommodating Derryhale Primary 4 and 5's over to our school as part of our Shared Education programme. Miss Grimley's primary 4 and 5's worked very well at their first PDMU lesson on Reconciliation. The focus of today's lesson was to create relationships and get to know other pupils from a different school as well as discussing teamwork and sharing valuable information about our identities. The pupils took part in a starter lesson which included playing 'people bingo'. The main activity was to create and design a tower using only newspaper and masking tape. The children enjoyed the difficult task of making sure the tower was able to balance and have strength to stand freely.
