Celebrating Our Incredible P7 Leavers of 2026!

22nd Jun 2026

What can we say about our P7 Leavers of 2026? This remarkable group of young people has officially closed this chapter and is ready to take on the next exciting stage of their education. Having them at St. Oliver Plunkett's has been both a pleasure and a privilege.

To send them off in style, our entire school community came together to ensure their final week was packed with lifelong memories, laughter and fond farewells.

A Week to Remember

It was an incredibly busy final week, packed with action from start to finish:

  • Monday: The fun kicked off with an exciting trip to Craigavon and the South Lake Leisure Centre alongside their P5–P7 classmates.

  • Tuesday: The adventures continued with a brilliant day out at the Share Discovery Village in Lisnaskea (be sure to check out our previous news article for the highlights!).

  • Wednesday: The pupils returned to school to prepare for their end-of-year Mass and spent some precious time with their P1 buddies, bidding them a heartfelt farewell.

  • Thursday: The celebrations went into overdrive! We treated the leavers to a delicious Domino’s pizza party, followed by a raucous, joyful send-off at the Leavers’ Parade in the main yard. A final "buddy walk" gave the whole school one last chance to chat, laugh and reminisce about their favorite memories.

  • Friday: To cap off an emotional week, the entire school gathered at St. Patrick's Church in Stonebridge for a beautiful, reflective end-of-year celebration Mass.

Wishing You the Best!

All in all, these boys and girls richly deserved every treat, trip, and accolade they received. We are immensely proud of them and we wish them the absolute best as they step into the next phase of their lives.
