Fr. Brennan Celebrates Start of Year Mass

1st Oct 2022

Fr. Brennan visited the school this week to celebrate our Start of Year Mass and bless all the pupils, the team at the school and indeed the wider St. Oliver Plunkett’s community for the year ahead. He was especially thrilled with the wonderful reading, singing and participation of the pupils in the ceremony and a huge word of congratulations goes to our P5, P6 and P7 pupils for all their wonderful efforts. We also have to congratulate our younger classes on their exceptional behaviour and attention throughout the Mass.

On a sadder note we made the most of the opportunity to wish Fr. Brennan all the very best in his upcoming retirement after over 50 years of dedicated service to not only the St. Oliver Plunkett’s school community past and present, but also to the Kilmore parish. We were delighted that Fr. Brennan could stay for dinner after the ceremony and are in no doubt that we will see him many many more times again in the future when he calls to visit and continue supporting the work of our wonderful school.
