Our indoor Girls' 5 a-side panel had a fantastic day today at the Co. Armagh Indoors heats in the fabulous new Jack Bratton Centre @ Armagh Harps GFC.
Having qualified 2nd place behind a strong CBS team from their group stage, they faced off against St. Peter's Collegelands in the quarter final. A very close and tense encounter ensued and thankfully the girls came out on top to quality against the other group winners, St. Patrick's Armagh.
Despite having a lot of the possession and defending admirably, we just couldn't get the all important goal against St Patrick's and we narrowly lost out on a final place.
Regardless of the outcome, everyone is immensely proud of the girls' achievements and it is clear that the hard work going on at the Davitt's and in the school is paying off.
