A chairde, you may recall a few weeks back we surveyed the families in school as part of our School Development Planning cycle. An outcome of this survey (and indeed that of the pupil survey to) was that we needed to upgrade and improve our ICT equipment. Therefore, thanks to the continuous support the PTA and you the families in general, we were able to purchase a new, fully equipped suite of 30 top of the range iPads - providing each and every child in each class an individual device on which to explore ICT.
Now that the devices have arrived and are fully setup, we tasked our P5-P7 pupils have been learning how to use he creative art features of Adobe Express as part of our Using ICT provision and we have a small sample of the finished 1st attempts below. Check back in a few weeks when we have honed our skills and can create even more elaborate and detailed Digital Art pieces.
