P4 Celebrate their First Holy Communion
A huge "comhghairdeas libh" and congratulations to the boys and girls of our P4 class on celebrating their First Holy Communion today! Surrounded by friends and family in St. Patrick’s Church, Stonebridge, it was a truly memorable occasion.
On a gloriously sunny and crisp morning, the community turned out in force to support our pupils. Their singing, readings, responses and participation throughout the service were simply fantastic.
A Heartfelt Thank You
An event of this significance involves the hard work of many. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to:
- Fr. Murphy: For his kind words and for leading such a beautiful ceremony.
- Michael Lee & Declan McCann: For preparing the chapel and hall, ensuring everything was perfect for the big day.
- Mr. Cullen & The School Team: For their dedication in preparing the pupils and their support throughout the morning.
- Mrs. Hendron & The Choir: Along with our talented instrumentalists, thank you for leading the musical ceremony with such wonderful singing and tin whistle playing.
Community Spirit
In keeping with our long-standing tradition, we offer a special word of thanks to our P3 parents/carers. Your wonderful donations of food and the time you gave to serve refreshments in the hall made the celebration extra special for the P4 families.
To Our Pupils
And last, but certainly not least, a massive well done to our wonderful P4 pupils, including the children from the wider parish who joined us to receive the sacrament today. We are so proud of you all.
We hope you all have a lovely weekend celebrating this great milestone in your young lives!
