Our P5/6 class are partnering up with our friends from Mrs. Vallely's class in Derryhale PS again to work collaboratively on various World Around Us projects and this term it is the topic of the Egyptians. In order to help the pupils better appreciate the unique history of this period, we decided to head for the Ulster Museum in Belfast to see, touch and interact with the artefacts on display.
It was a really enjoyable trip and we enjoyed a workshop by the Education team in the Museum, giving everyone the opportunity to become junior archaeologists and explore some of the jobs from that period.
