P6/7 Report on An Górta Mór

Our P6/7 pupils were studying the impact of the Famine on the lives of ordinary Irish people and they created this news cast showcasing how the people of Ireland suffered not only under the scourge of the potato plight itself, but they also had to contend with greedy and scrupulous landlords at that time. Their backdrops are also taken from recent examples of art work completed as part of the school’s ongoing use of the Art&Design Factory resource.
