This week the P6/7 class made wildlife documentaries. The children watched a slow motion video of a bumble bee searching for nectar and felt inspired to make their own slo-mo mini beast videos. They were challenged to find a mini beast and to record the animal using the slo-mo video function on an iPad. Using the iPads, they then researched their mini beast and compiled a script of interesting facts. Commentaries were recorded and used with the video footage to make movies.
The activity was not only great fun but created a brilliant opportunity for ICT and for learning about common bugs and creepy crawlies 🕷🐛
