Mr. Charlie Hill and his colleague Francie were on hand recently to invite our P7 leaver pupils out to plant a tree marking their journey through St. Oliver Plunkett's. In what is now an annual event in which each pupil leaving our school plants a tree to mark their time with us, we were glad to make the most of a break in the bad weather to plant the saplings with both gentlemen. We were especially excited to have Fr. Nugent join us also to mark the occasion. Hopefully in many years to come the boys and girls will see their trees grow and they will act as a lovely reminder of their time in SOPPS.
