Today, the children from Orchard Pre-School came to visit Mrs McKee in what will soon be their new school. It was a wonderful morning filled with fun, exploration and excitement.
The children thoroughly enjoyed outdoor play in the lovely weather. The bikes and cars were a huge hit, along with the market stall and farm shop role-play areas. The obstacle course also proved very popular, giving everyone the chance to practise their balancing and climbing skills.
Some children were especially lucky to receive a visit from their older siblings, who came along to see how they were getting on and to share in the excitement of the day.
To finish the morning, the children went inside to have a look around their new classroom and begin to familiarise themselves with their new surroundings.
A lovely morning was had by everyone, and we look forward to welcoming all the children back in August and September when they will begin their exciting journey as our new P1 pupils!
