PTA Spooktacular Disco
Yet again our wonderful Friends of St. Oliver Plunkett's PTA organised and hosted our now annual Halloween Disco over in the Pastoral Centre at Stonebridge. With almost every child from school in attendance, it was yet again a huge success and great fun was had by all.
There were fabulously creative and hilarious costumes on display everwhere you looked and a special word of congratulations to Conor and Béibhinn for winning the best dressed prizes. Well done (and a huge thanks) also to the PTA volunteers for almost certainly ending the '6/7 craze' by stealing the children's thunder with their own version of the outfit!!!!
Of course, the evening couldn't have happened had it not been for the brilliant preparation and generosity of the PTA volunteers, all the parents/carers for getting the boys/girls ready, Fr. Murphy and Paul Hughes for getting us access to and using the hall, and of course Owen from DJ Re-Mix for his fantastic tunes! A word of thanks too to our parent helpers and past pupil volunteers who kept the quiet room and tattoo stations ticking over all evening as well. Therefore we pass on our gratitude and thanks for all their support. Check out the pics below for just a sneak peak of how the night went.
