Shared Education trip to Ulster Museum Belfast

22nd Oct 2023
The boys and girls of P5 enjoyed a fabulous trip to the Ulster Museum in Belfast last week as part of our Shared Education project with Derryhale P.S. The pupils were able to learn all about the Ancient Egyptians and look in detail at the Mummification process as well as learning all about jobs that were common in Ancient Egypt. Following our morning workshop we headed up to the exhibition floors to see Takabuti and real artifacts. It was a fabulous trip that was thoroughly enjoyed by all and on the way home we even found a little time to pop in to Peoples' Park in Portadown for a quick play.
As ever, we must praise the pupils for their brilliant manners and behaviour and we look forward to our follow up lessons with Derryhale where we will continue to bring this topic to life for the pupils.
Maith sibh!
