We made the short journey over to Stonebridge this morning to celebrate our Start of Year Mass with Fr. Murphy. The pupils were impeccably behaved all morning and their singing/responses to the mass were fabulous. Our new P1 pupils were led in at the start by their P7 buddies and this was a lovely way to welcome the P1s into our school whilst also nodding to the fact the P7s will soon be starting to think about moving onwards to their new secondary schools in the not too distant future.
We were thrilled to also see so many parents/relatives in attendance and a big thank you goes out to all our families for dropping the pupils off at the Pastoral Centre for morning registration. As always we also thank Fr. Murphy for his continuing guidance and celebrating the mass with us. And finally, a big well done to the whole team at schoool for making the morning such a smooth and enjoyable one for the pupils.
