The Lfe Cycle Of A Butterfly In P.1
Just an update on the caterpillars that Kayley took into our classroom.
We were all so excited to witness the caterpillars transform into cocoons. However, after approximately 8 days, the cocoons made a final transformation into some beautiful butterflies. Out of the four butterflies, three survived.
We fed them with some sugar paste and one even decided to have a test flight in our classroom. We then decided it was time to free the butterflies into their natural environment. It was bitter sweet setting them free but WOW, it was so amazing for our pupils to witness this lifecycle before their very eyes.
